FASTA BLAST Scan

FASTA BLAST Scan is a program for processing nucleotide sequences alignment made with FASTA and BLAST alignment tools.

FASTA BLAST Scan is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL)
If you find it useful, please send me a nice postcard.

 FASTA BLAST Scan's features

Input

FASTA BLAST Scan can process two types of nucleotide alignment:

FASTA BLAST Scan is compatible with the following versions of FASTA and BLAST:

FASTA program from "Pearson package" at ftp://ftp.virginia.edu/pub/fasta (versions 3.1, 3.2, 3.3t07 and 3.4t10)

BLASTN from NCBI server (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/BLAST/) (version 2.2.25+)

The maximum number of sequences in alignment is 10000.

Output

The selected sequences can be saved in:

Multi-sequence FASTA format that can be directly aligned with the CLUSTALW program
