Welcome the the BioVM project Wiki. The BioVM project is not an attempt to create yet another linux distro for bioinformatics. Instead it is an attempt to create a virtual appliance for bioinformatics. This would render most intel based operating systems capable of running local implementations of the latest command line bioinformatics tools. I am currently looking for volunteers to help with the formulation of program content.
