Summary:
Substitute U of M local doc pages with dummy pages
|
Original submission:
On a new installation, the BIRCH home page has links to a U of M -specific documentation pages, meant to serve as templates. As well, the Finding Information page has a link to IST Unix pages.
These should be substituted for something more generic in a new install. Especially for the person doing a single-user install, nobody is going to bother changing these and running customdoc.py to make the changes take effect. We should therefore give them something more generic.
How hard would it be to detect the current desktop and put that documentation in?
