  • Sight: Web robot generator - Downloads

    Sight Windows 2.1.1 (exe)

    Release notes:

This installer needs the pre-installed java 1.4.0 or compatible virtual machine. If you already have this virtual machine, it is not clever to download and use a separate copy just for Sight - it is over 20 mb in size! Also, the original Sun download it smaller. After installation the command 'java ', typed from console anywhere in the computer, must invoke java 1.4+ . If you are not sure how to reach this, use the alternative release with included jre.

    Changelog:

This version has improved xml transform wizard. It is now more adapted for cases when the document has multiple tags with identical names, and for finding the desired information the values of the attributes and nested tags must be checked. We also integrated a BioQuery that generates robots for submitting various queries to NCBI. SSH plug-in (JSch) is replaced by the newer, more reliable version.

    Release notes:

This Windows installer contains complete java runtime environment for cases when it is not desireable to install jre separately.
