Submitter ``The National Biotechnology Information Facility (NBIF) provides a single-point access to a vast store of widely distributed biotechnology data including approximately 7,000 links to biotechnology resources. The NBIF encourages information sharing between researchers in Academia, Industry, Government, and the Department of Defense, promotes biotechnology in Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Institutions (HBCU/MIs), and provides training in biotechnology. The NBIF is also active in developing new sources and types of biotechnology databases.''
