    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Under the direction of the principal investigator, the successful candidate will be involved in, but not limited to, the development of a flexible, high-performance, scalable electronics system for radionuclide imaging (OpenPET project http://openpet.lbl.gov). Other research projects include the development of a novel silicon photomultiplier and a time-of-flight PET camera with a timing resolution of less than 300 ps.

    REQUIREMENTS

    The successful candidate is expected to have strong background in electronics design and implementation, particularly in the area of digital electronics and field programmable gate arrays.
