RESPONSIBILITIES
The Training Outreach Manager will be responsible for identifying training approaches that are appropriate across Europe in order to address training priorities by liaising with all the stakeholders in ELIXIR-UK, including the Research Councils, industry and other organisations. S/he will engage with other ELIXIR nodes across Europe, in order to share best practice in training and new training opportunities. The postholder will be responsible for continually evaluating strategies for training delivery and training needs across European institutions.
REQUIREMENTS
Educated to degree level in a biological/computational discipline, the Training Outreach Manager will have experience of working on international, multi-partner projects. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a willingness to travel will also be required.
