We're Satellite Healthcare, one of the country's most innovative providers of patient-centered dialysis and kidney disease services. Known for our collegial and supportive corporate culture, our medical and clinical staff are highly motivated and committed to promoting patient wellness and improved quality of life. We are entering a period of higher growth and greater national visibility while the healthcare industry is entering a time of increasing challenge and complexity. At Satellite, we are well positioned to capitalize on market changes driven by health care reform and are currently seeking a Sr. Clinical Analyst to help us lead the way.

In this role, you will help provide detailed analysis on clinical and operational performance to be used for optimizing clinical operations and efficiency as well as economic impact. This data will directly influence decisions on ongoing and future clinical initiatives and realignment of operational processes to enable the development of a patient-centered ESRD care delivery system suitable for the accountable care future. Focused data analysis highlighting gaps and high risk events associated with ESRD will enable Satellite to more rapidly introduce new services to better respond to patients and care takers needs. Responsibilities include answering clinical and operational questions by using appropriate statistical techniques on available data; preparing, verifying and managing datasets and developing accompanying documentation; conducting independent analysis of high complexity, querying from a complex patient database; and creating and executing work plans with involved data processes or analyses. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating system QA processes; conducing robust programming and data quality checks to ensure data integrity; developing analysis and reports using an understanding of the business needs for information; critically reviewing and revising existing analytical processes for accuracy and efficiency; communicating findings in the form of presentations, graphs, abstracts or summaries so that they are easily understood for non-technical audiences; and being accountable for statistical input that is provided for all major documents, including clinical development plans, protocols, statistical analysis plans and manuscripts.

To qualify, you must have an MS in Math, Biostatistics or a related field with at least 3-5 years of experience, expert knowledge of SAS for analysis, graphical output and standardized reporting, experience solving analytic problems using quantitative approaches, and familiarity with relational databases. Additionally, the self-motivated candidate we seek must be comfortable manipulating and analyzing complex clinical data, and be able to independently design and implement analyses appropriate for longitudinal data, perform complicated data merges, and develop programs and scripts that can be used to generate reliable results over time. Requires ability to communicate quantitative analysis in a clear, precise and actionable manner, along with strong organizational, documentation and multi-tasking skills. Should also be able to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively with a small team.
