MAVERIC is currently leading a VA national program for Genome-Phenome analysis called Million Veteran Program (MVP), to recruit and bank a million samples for genomic analysis including NGS and SNP genotyping. The Genomic Information System for Integrative Science (GenISIS) is the informatics platform to store, manage, integrate and analyze MVP data. Reporting to the Scientific Director (GenISIS) this fellowship will focus on NGS and SNP analysis. Research interest includes optimization of data processing and data harmonization for high throughput NGS data from multiple technology platforms, NGS data analysis, optimization of data analysis of large scale SNP genotyping, data QC, optimization of data analysis pipelines for identification of clinically significant variants/aberrations and analysis of mutations and pathways.
