DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow in computational biology to join a bioinformatics group based at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba and Data Science Platform of George and Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation.
The position entails the development and evaluation of statistical and computational models and tools for integrative analysis and interpretation of cancer omics data. You should have a PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, statistics, computer science, or a field relevant to quantitative subject. Expertise in R, Matlab or C/C++ and Unix programming environments are required. Knowledge of copy number variation analysis would be an asset
TERMS
This is a full-time position and is fixed-term until 31 August 2018.
