    Bio-Linux 4.0 released

    ``After intensive testing, Bio-Linux 4.0 is released. If you are interested in a Debian-based bioinformatics workstation, contact the EGTDC for an installtion of Bio-Linux! You can contact the EGTDC helpdesk at helpdesk@envgen.nox.ac.uk.

    ``It is based on Debian 3.1 and KDE3.3/Gnome2.8 with a 2.6.8.1 kernel. All the bioinformatics software has been installed as Debian packages.''
