DESCRIPTION

GeneMines, a fast growing Biotechnology/Bioinformatics company located in Chennai, India, is looking for a grant writer/R&D project developer who will research and write Bioinformatics grant proposals and also carry out R&D projects. Successful applicants will be responsible for writing grant proposals for the development of bioinformatics software and databases and participate in R&D efforts.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

Extensive grant writing experience
Ph.D. in biochemistry/molecular biology/bionformatics/biological sciences
Sound knowledge of bioinformatics tools and databases
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Must show portfolio detailing successful grant writing experience
