    Opportunity: BIOINFORMATICS R&D--Chennai, India

    DESCRIPTION

    GeneMines, a fast growing Biotechnology/Bioinformatics company located in Chennai, India, is looking for a grant writer/R&D project developer who will research and write Bioinformatics grant proposals and also carry out R&D projects. Successful applicants will be responsible for writing grant proposals for the development of bioinformatics software and databases and participate in R&D efforts.

    REQUIREMENTS

    The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
    • Extensive grant writing experience
    • Ph.D. in biochemistry/molecular biology/bionformatics/biological sciences
    • Sound knowledge of bioinformatics tools and databases
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Must show portfolio detailing successful grant writing experience
