BACKGROUND

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, located in Memphis, Tennessee, is a premier center for research and treatment of potentially fatal childhood diseases, including cancer and certain blood, genetic, and immunodeficiency disorders. The hospital's mission is to find cures for children with catastrophic diseases through treatment and research. St. Jude Hospital is dedicated to providing unsurpassed patient care and to advancing the health of children through biomedical research.

Currently, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has an opening for a Software and Systems Analyst.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Software and Systems Analyst provides assistance in the planning, design, implementation, testing and documentation of software, database and web-based applications that support the mission of the Department of Biostatistics. The application/system specifications must integrate into the software systems supported by the Department. This position is responsible for assisting in coordinating, design and development of application projects, as well as interpreting statistical methodology into code. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed in order to meet the goals and objectives of the Department

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have the following requirements:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
One year of previous experience in software development preferred.
