Education: National Workshop on `Algorithms in Bioinformatics'

DESCRIPTION:
The focus of the current workshop is to provide participants with commonly used algorithms and tools in Bioinformatics and the underlying strategies and scientific approaches essential for addressing biological problems and successful implementation of computer programs through guided practical training.

Besides BISR Faculty the experts of the field will deliver lectures and conduct demonstration on the relevant topics followed by Hands-on session in computer lab. The participants of the course may be students, research scholars, faculty member and industry personnel with background in Life Sciences and/or Information Technology. The seats are limited to 40 only so that more attention may be paid to individual participant. Those who are interested in attending this programme kindly apply as soon as possible before November 5, 2007.

REGISTRATION:

A certificate of attendance for Professional Development will be given to each participant who completes the course.
