Software: GenCLiP: clustering genes by literature profiling and constructing custom gene networks
Submitted by Zhong-Xi Huang; posted on Monday, July 21, 2008

    Submitter

GenCLiP, a software program for clustering gene lists by literature profiling and constructing gene co-occurrence networks related to custom keywords, is now published in the BMC Bioinformatics journal (www.biomedcentral.com/1471-2105/9/308).

Two main characters of GenCliP are: (i) all of the associations between the analyzed human genes and the keywords outputted by GenCLiP are up-to-date; (ii) GenCLiP can construct gene co-occurrence networks among the analyzed genes based on custom keywords.

    AVAILABILITY

GenCLiP is freely available under the BSD Open Source license for download from www.genclip.com
