Events: CAMDA conference announcement & deadline extension to October 22

Because of the fairly late release of the second contest data set we have had many requests for a deadline extension. We have thus decided to push back the deadline for all papers by two more weeks to October 22.
For fairness towards already submitted manuscripts, past submissions can also be revised and resubmitted until that date. We are looking forward to a lively contest and hope to see you at the conference!
IMPORTANT DATES
Public release of Contest Data Set: June 1, 2008
Extended Abstract Proposals due: October 22, 2008
Acceptance notification for session speakers: November 1, 2008
Acceptance notification for poster presenters: November 1, 2008
Early registration closes: November 3, 2008
Conference opens (later p.m.): December 4, 2008
Conference closes: December 6, 2008
Full paper submission: January 31, 2009
