    Drives and leads the successful planning and execution of strategic Medical Information projects including support of several Global Medical Information Initiatives focused on a customer-centric model. Develops plan to oversee creation and support delivery of medical information proactive content through various channels. Ensures effectiveness and efficiency across the MI function in alignment with Medical Services. Responsible for development of project charters, change management plans and functional and therapeutic training of Medical Information in alignment with Field Medical and Performance Training Solutions. Establishes, identifies and communicates best practices. Leads creation, update and implementation of Medical Information Policies, Directives and SOPs. Effectively communicates results, status and updates of major projects to key stakeholders. Conduct benchmarking studies with other pharmaceutical companies and develop a process for alignment of market research for each brand across departments. Individual will play a key role in strategic planning for the future of Medical Information and Medical Services.


    • Pharm D (preferred) with a minimum of 5 to7 years experience working in the pharmaceutical environment
    • Strong leadership capabilities, program planning and project management skills
    • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
    • Proven team building skills and ability to foster partnerships across projects and multidisciplinary teams
    • In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, medical information and or other medical functions
    • Anticipates needs and emerging issues and proposes solutions Develops and maintains strong collaborative working relationships
    • Engages and energizes employees through communication of goals, priorities, and other business critical information as well as recognizing and celebrating success and achievements
    • Develops and implements innovative training models aimed at achieving therapeutic and functional skills objectives and assesses the effectiveness of these models in achievement of desired outcomes
    • Stays aware of new scientific and clinical developments to ensure company's competitiveness and compliance in short and long term
    • Maintains knowledge of various industry approaches
    • Assures that all work complies with applicable laws and regulations as well as BMS policies


    • Understanding and experience with medical review of promotional materials and the TRAX process preferred
    • Experience with creation of training materials and SOPs and processes preferred
