    Opportunity: Breast Cancer Research Statistical Analyst @ Yale Cancer Center -- New Haven, CT (US)

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Perform analysis of next generation sequencing data and develop new analytical solutions in collaboration with faculty. Apply computer programs and statistical methods to challenging problems in cancer research. Prepare written reports and manuscripts and present results to a multidisciplinary audience.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Demonstrated expertise in advanced statistics and knowledge of sequencing data analysis software tools. Experience with analysis of gene expression and comparative genomic hybridization results. Creativity and willingness to learn and develop new methodology. Good communication skills are essential.

    Required Education: M.S. or preferred Ph.D degree in quantitative sciences. Minimum 4 years, preferred 6 years, of relevant experience with demonstrated competence and peer reviewed publications.
