    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Laboratory of Molecular Medicine and Genomics of the University of Salerno (http://www.labmedmolge.unisa.it) is now evaluating Italian and foreign candidates for the following positions:
    • 1 Bioinformatics Group Leader (1 year, renewable)
    • 1 Post-doctoral fellow (Assegno di Ricerca) in Bioinformatics applied to Genomics (1 year, renewable)
    • PhD (Dottorato di Ricerca) in Genomics and Bioinformatics
    Candidates will be involved in research and industrial projects dealing with Next-Generation Sequencing (miRNA-, RNA- and ChIP-Seq, exome sequencing, methyl-Seq and other epigenetics analyses, etc) and Genomics (transcriptomics and SNP genotyping) data analyses.

    REQUIREMENTS

    A strong background in Bioinformatics (Computer Science /Statistics), Biology and Next Generation Sequencing data analysis applied to structural and functional Genomics are required, but candidates with a limited experience in one or more of these fields are also invited, together with a good knowledge of Scientific English.
