Bioinformatic Skills:

Project on Human Disease, DUCHENNE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY (DMD) using Genome Databases, GCG, BLAST and Web based tools for Biological sequence analysis at Rutgers University, NJ

Work involved:
- Genetic location of Dystrophin Gene
- Statistical analysis of gene location
- Molecular analysis of gene
- Analysis of Gene Map Information
- Related gene information in Drosophila, Caenorhabdits, Saccharomyces and Ecoli
- 3D structure of Protein known
- Analytical Software: GCG, BLAST and Cn3D software ? for protein
- Databases: NCBI ? Gene Bank, EMBL, DDBJ, TIGR, PDB ? for Protein structure analysis

sir,i m a student doing bsc.wel sir in our institute we wil b able to choose our branch on 2nd yr.i am intrested in taking bioinformatics as my subject.so sir plz do let me know abt the prospets in dis field.
