OBJECTIVE
Technobia’09 aims to bring together researchers, scientists, students, engineers, and academic and R&D scholars to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results about all aspects of Computational Biology & Chemistry and also stem cell research, and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted. The event addresses the development and application of computational methods for biological problems from the perspectives of both research and industry. Eminent well known speakers come together to enlighten the audience with their research, academic and industry experiences, also highlighting the recent research and scope in these fields.

Call for Abstracts for Poster Presentation
TECHNOBIA ˇ¦09
National Conference on Stem Cell Research, Computational Biology
and Chemistry
Venue: Hotel Green Park, Chennai
Date: 8th and 9th of August, 2009
We invite abstracts for poster presentation in TECHNOBIAˇ¦09 from the interested
participants. Please note that abstracts for poster presentation only are being invited and
the abstracts submitted should be relevant to the conference theme Stem Cell Research,
Computational Biology and Chemistry, however, abstracts on topics relevant to the
general theme will be considered.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is Friday, 31st July, 2009.
„X Interested participants are invited to submit an abstract, as an attachment, one A4
page maximum, word document (.doc) of your contribution to info@bionteq.com
„X After the Scientific Committee evaluation, all accepted abstract presenting authors
will be notified by email, by August 2nd, 2009.
„X If you have not heard from us by this date please contact us by email
info@bionteq.com to ensure that your abstract was received.
„X All accepted abstract presenting authors must register for the conference before
20th of July 2009 to ensure inclusion in the Conference Program.
ABSTRACT GUIDELINES
1. ABSTRACT DOCUMENT FORMAT
When submitting the Abstract please note that:
„X the abstract title should be entered first in capital letters and bold
„X the main/presenting author's surname must be given first, followed by first name,
in bold
„X on a separate line the author's affiliation should be entered in italics
„X then give the names of any co-authors, followed by, on a separate line, their
affiliation
„X leave a blank line and then enter the abstract text
„X use Arial Font 10
The maximum of words for your abstract is 300, excluding authorsˇ¦ name, affiliation and
any graphics but the abstract must fit on one A4 size page.
2. ABSTRACT CONTENT
„X The abstract should be informative and detailed.
„X Abstract must contain the following information:
„X an introduction and objectives
„X methods
„X results obtained
„X and any conclusions
The author should take the responsibility of submitting the abstract in perfect order
without any grammatical or spelling mistakes. BionteQ will not redo or correct the
abstract and no corrections what so ever will be accepted. Abstracts not received in
correct format will not be considered.
