seKs: Sequence editing KDE suite (empty) - Message forums

Hi I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask but..
I'm new to KDE and am trying to do a fairly simple project at the moment.I'm having one problem though.
I want to have a button in Kdevelop that can call a C++ program and bring up a Konsole window to run it in.
I already have a button that can bring up new windows or whatever. It's probably just a certain system call.
Any help that you can give me would be much appreciated
