Literature mining with I, Librarian at a rate of 8 seconds per article

This article will show you how I, Librarian makes my literature mining more productive. Let's look at a few numbers, so you can quantitatively compare, how efficient the mining method you currently use is.

For one week, I took a stop watch and measured how much time I spent scanning the literature with I, Librarian. My workflow is as follows:

1. I run my searches.
2. I read the titles and sources of the found articles.
3. I read the abstracts of select articles.
4. If I decide to keep an article, I find a PDF on Internet.
5. I record the PDF and metadata to I, Librarian database.

This graph shows how my typical week looks like:

As you can see, I routinely scan about 70 articles every day. Only about 10% will make it into the second round, where I finally choose a couple of articles that I will keep and read. Unfortunately, there is not enough time to read more. This process took me about 9 minutes in average, which is less then 8 seconds per article.

Let me know your approach to literature mining and compare it with I, Librarian. Remember that this is just the process of selecting the literature that I will later read. No in-depth reading is involved at this stage.
