List View
  • Top panel enables navigation between the whole collection (Library), your personal collection (Shelf), collaborative projects (Desk), and temporary collection (Clipboard). You can navigate to recording section and Tools from here as well.
  • Left panel contains smart browsing menus. You can open records limited to custom categories, or records from particular author, journal, etc.
  • Right panel shows the list of items in various formats (titles only, summaries, summaries with abstracts and grahpical abstracts).

Single Item Window
  • Top panel displays various details about the item, including title, abstract, authors, affiliation, DOI, etc.
  • Tabs at the top provide fast access to item editing, managing categories, adding or viewing supplementary files, writing rich-text notes, export options, and printing.
  • Bottom panel displays the PDF using your PDF browser plugin. The page can be easily scrolled down with one click to fill the whole page with the PDF for comfortable reading.

  Pubmed search
  • Top part of the form enables to use advanced boolean tagged searches of Pubmed items. It is very powerful approach for literature mining.
  • Middle part offers a search using single keywords. It provides simpler, but faster way to find a particular article.
  • Bottom part enables to limit search results to those published in a certain date range, or those written in English, reviews, etc. Searches can be saved for later use. Similar interface is available for searching of PubMed Central, NASA ADS, arXiv, HighWire Press, and JSTOR.

  PDF batch upload
  • PDF batch import can be used to save multiple PDF files simultaneously. First, you enter a directory that contains PDFs that you want to import. I, Librarian will let you know how many PDFs is in there, including subdirectories.
  • Middle part contains a choice of internet databases that will be queried for metadata. These include PubMed, NASA ADS, and Crossref.
  • Bottom part helps you to decide how to sort the PDF files. Those files that don't contain a DOI, can be copied to a predetermined directory. Alternatively, you can choose to import all PDF files, even if they don't cointain a DOI.
