I have been dealing with phylogenetics since undergrad school (2001), and also in my Masters. I'm now on my PhD in bioinfomatics at LNCC, Brazil. I'm very interested in genome evolution (especially non-coding regions or non-standard coding regions, like transposons, pseudogenes, introns, regulatory regions... everything but regular boring coding regions). Also, since 2001 I've been quite dedicated to fiddling with Linux, besides doing research.
