    I have been administering UNIX-based scientific computing environments for the research community since 1990. I worked for the NRC Canadian Bioinformatics Resource from 1997 until its closure in March, 2005. I am still with the NRC in Halifax, providing systems administration for IMB's Research Informatics platform.
