The PHP Labware project aims to develop open-source PHP-based software for day-to-day use by laboratories and research groups. The project has been set up with the support of bioinformatics.org.

* 28 Feb 2009 - versions 1.5.3 and 1.6.3 of LabStoRe and OrderSys, respectively, released

* 31 Jul 2008 - version 1.3.1 of Sourceer source code/file viewer released

* 15 Mar 2008 - version 1.1.1 of rTxt2htm text to HTML converter released

* LabStoRe, a laboratory stocks and record inventory management system using MySQL

* OrderSys, a purchase ordering system using MySQL

* LabWiki, a textfile-based wiki system based on David Barrett's QwikiWiki
