This book is no good at all in my opinion. It has a lot of websites really, that's it. It tlaks about the very basics of databases, etc. and it doesn't really go into any concrete understanding needed for bioinformatics. I, personally, would avoid this book.

  Hi,

O'Reilly has a book titled "Developing Bioinformatics Computer Skills" by Cynthia Gibas and Per Jambeck.

  Hope this helps.

  Thanks,
  John
