[BiO BB] Mass spec output

Hi there,

Does anyone know a good source describing details
about mzData files concerning the kind of information this sort of file
contains?

Actually I am interested in having detailed description about all kind of
information
that is contained in the output of a mass spectrometer. Thus, I was thinking
in analysing
a very used data format like mzData to figure it out, but I am open to
another kind of source that could provide the information I need.
