[BiO BB] EST vs cDNA reliability

Hello to all,

I've got some troubles finding information about the difference of
reliability we should give to ESTs vs. the one given to cDNAs while
determining a gene structure.

Can anyone help me understand how each of these are built (papers ?, ...),
in order to understand how we should consider each of them ?

I'd be very greatful to you if you could...
