Dear Prasad,

The documentation for constructing the Bio-Linux image is here:

http://nebc.nerc.ac.uk/tools/bio-linux/other-bl-docs/devinfo

Note that there is no automated build process, but the steps are all
documented.

If you want to build individual packages, the build procedure depends on
the type of package, eg:

* For many packages a binary version was provided for download by the
authors, so the package just contains this binary (eg.
bio-linux-artemis)
* Some packages contain the source code which you can rebuild if you
want (eg. bio-linux-staden)
* Some newer packages are backports from Debian Med - you can find these
here: https://edge.launchpad.net/~tbooth/+archive/ppa1
The PPA is a work in progress and some packages are still being tested
so is not currently advertised on the site.

If you are interested in building a particular package and run into
problems, please use this list to discuss the issue and I'll try to
help.

Cheers,

TIM
