Hi Alan,

Unfortunately not.  The MX server requires changes to system files and
the creation of the 'mx' user account, so you need to get the permission
of the system administrator - which on a standard Bio-Linux setup is
whoever holds the manager password.

As a reminder, to get a root shell open a regular terminal as manager
and do:

'sudo bash' (and give the manager password)

or open a terminal as any user and do:

'su -' (and give the root password)
