[Bio-Linux] New Release near?

I would like to install the Bio-Linux packages found on your repository 
onto our local Ubuntu 8.04 workstations.  Are there any caveats that I 
should be aware of at this time?  Is there going to be a new release of 
Bio-Linux in the near future?
