Hi, Tauqeer.
Please post details of the hardware by running:
sudo lshw -short
Please also post the output from:
lsb_release -d
It should say:
Description: Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS
If you have Bio-Linux 8 installed on hard disk, then make sure you do:
sudo -i
apt update
apt full-upgrade
apt-get autoremove
*** DON'T do this if you're running Bio-Linux from a USB-stick! ***
If you are using a Bio-Linux 8.0.7 USB-stick, it is using an older Linux
kernel from Ubuntu 14.04.02 and may not support more recent WiFi chips.
A work-around is to use a USB WiFi dongle instead of the built-in WiFi.
HTH,
Tony.
