[Bioclusters] Re: Can't run full duplex on the xserve (fwd)

Victor,

From my experience as a software guy trying to get my mac attached to our mostly windows network, I know that having the router set to full-duplex and forcing my mac to full-duplex at startup definitely works. By all accounts from the hardware folks, having the switch set up any other way causes problems that are hard to debug for their windows PCs, so they just go with that and then if they get a problem they know it is in the way that the PC is configured. Obviously, your mileage may vary, and as I said earlier, networks are not really my forte.

Good luck.

Later,

Andy
