[Bioclusters] Problems with gridEngine on OS X

I have all of the above in place. But WHY should having the X11 SDK  
make a difference? Does it change anything with regard to installed  
libraries, etc?

We are using Panther (at or near latest update). I should have stated  
that I downloaded the binaries from Sun. Could that be the issue?

In any event, I would appreciate trying your executable.

I didn't think so, but the error did provoke a sense of "My God, what  
now?"

Hum. Nothing changed on my server between moving from 5.3 to 6.0. I  
thought I did the installation essentially the same both times. The  
hostnames should be picked up from my netinfo database, but maybe there  
are multiple definitions (like in /etc/hosts?) I will take a closer  
look.
