[Biococoa-dev] CVS from XCode [really solved]

Hi Guys,

You probably remember that I managed to get XCode work with CVS once,
and afterwards it never did again. But now it's really solved and it
works again..... Thanks to a program called CVL (Concurrent Version
Librarian, http://www.sente.ch/software/cvl/ ) who gave me a more
informative error description than XCode did. It's a handy program by
the way, which allows you to visually do all CVS commands, including
delete. So the problem was that I somewhere had read to copy the
.cvswrappers file from the developers folder to my home directory, as
it would be necessary to work with nib and stuff. But that is if you
run your own cvs server only. The one I had now copied was not
supported by bioinformatics and gave some kind of short circuit. So
after deleting the file, everything works perfectly!

So that means I'm really in business. And to come back to the promise I
made to Koen, I'll have a look at a BCScanner, which should be so
difficult to implement (although it will be tricky to make it a bloody
fast one). Also for that I think I'll add a BCSymbol set as well,
analogous to the NSCharacterset.... Anyway, you will hopefully see it
popup on CVS ;-)

Cheers,
Alex

Claiming that the Macintosh is inferior to Windows
because most people use Windows, is like saying
that all other restaurants serve food that is
	inferior to McDonalds
