Sorry, just though of something:
how about BCMoiety instead of BCStructuralObject?

can an atom be considered a moiety??

In any case, I would prefer BCStructuralElement, instead of 'object',  
as the word 'Object' has a strong meaning in OOO... Sorry for being  
so picky
