Permanent Position Open for Bioinformatics Developer- CT

A Southwestern Connecticut scientific company seeks an experienced Bioinformatics Developer.   They have developed an innovative product which will supposedly render all competition obsolete.  As a result, a global pharmaceutical company has recently signed a $62,000,000 agreement to handle all the sales, marketing, and service for the product.  The company intends on expanding their staff by 20% in 2005.  The Bioinformatics Developer will be handling computational biology problems, using both commercial software, and by writing new programs in C, some Java, running different UNIX flavors.  This would include some work with users, graphical user interface development, data mining, and data modeling.  The salary ranges from $75,000 to $100,000, depending on level of experience. The position requires an advanced degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Physics, or Statistics, coupled with at least three years of C/UNIX bioinformatics software development  experience with a pharmaceutical or pharmaceutical software company.
