The course covers data analysis and presentation as well as hypothesis testing and the use of non-parametric tests. The course is online and provides opportunities for students to interact and discuss issues arising form the use and abuse of statistics. Students are introduced to the R statistics package, an alternative open source programme for the display and analysis of data".
