Hello everyone Don't know if this is the right place for such announcements, but recently I have started a website of Python and bioinformatics. Basically, I follow the same structure of Beginning Perl for Bioinformatics (James Tisdall, O'Reilly), giving a Python flavour to bioinformatics. As the book, the site has a tutorial approach, with very simple examples and scripts. At the moment, I have just finished covering the first section/chapter of the book (chapter 4, which has the first examples), but I introduce some topics that are not in the book and some examples are more Python oriented. Also, the site has educational purposes only, and I give no explanations of biological aspects. The address is http://python.genedrift.org Any comments, suggestions, opinions, etc are more than welcomed, as this is my first venture in this type of website. Regards Paulo Nuin
