[Genquire-dev] coding a new adaptor layer from scratch

The clock starts!

I am going to try to code a Genbank flat-file adaptor layer from scratch...
starting.... NOW!

I'll drop a note to the group with my experinces, and also update any docs
that I think need to be enhanced based on my trial and error.  Since I have
never used any of this code before (it is all Dave's code) I think I am a
good monkey to try it out "for real"!
