hmmm.... when you do an $^O in perl what is the resulting string? We need to keep a list of non-Mac OS's somewhere in the code; the installer has to run differently for Win32 versus Linux/Unix, but will probably not be the same on a Mac so it can't be an if/else, it has to be an if/elsif/elsif to check the OS... Go to line 186 of the code and switch "linux" for the string that comes from your $^O and everything should work fine. In the meantime I'll see if I can collect a set of OS type strings to store in the code. You might also change the reference to "linux" in the modules.conf file to the same string so that it picks that one up too. Sorry about that Elia! I hope this solves it for you.
