I'm doing changes in the cvs HEAD version to convert it into a gtk2 app.
Right now it is in a bad shape, because I have just started converting the
popup menus from gnome-1 API calls into gtk2 API calls. Once the menu
conversion is over the cvs HEAD version will be quite well usable (I'll
then start using it myself as well :)  I'll send a notice to the list when
I think the HEAD version is in better shape.

So I have chosen the gtk2 path to make the program better portable (say,
to cygwin for example) but I will retain the possibility to compile the
program into a bonobo server (you have to set --enable-bonobo in the
configure script).
