[ghemical-devel] windows binary tester

Hello,

I just put the windows binary (with a gtk+ runtime able to run it) available as a zip archive which is relatively simple to install.

The filename is ghemical-2.98a-win32-tester.zip and it is here:

Installation instructions are at README.txt file in the archive, but here are the essentials : you should extract the archive files to a safe location (c:\temp is a good one for example) and then go to the bin subdirectory in the extracted directory tree. There you need to execute the "relocate.bat" script file which will update files in etc subdirectory (for example you can double-click the script icon in windows explorer). Then just start the ghemical.exe file in the bin subdirectory.

The zip tester is quicker to make available than a real installer, which will come later...
