Hello Alan,

try installing libtool and perhaps other related software components:

$ su
# apt-cache search libtool
autotools-dev - Update infrastructure for config.{guess,sub} files
libtool - Generic library support script
etc...
then do:
# apt-get install libtool
and perhaps this:
# apt-get install autotools-dev
if such package exists for your system (mine is 32-bit Ubuntu-10).

Regards,
Tommi H.

Subject: [ghemical-devel] Problems with configure for Mopac7-1.15.

Hi

I tried to run configure as part of an attempt to build Mopac7-1.15, but get the following message:

Previously I had run: ./autogen.sh and: export F77='gfortran -std=legacy -fno-automatic'

Could you give me any ideas on how to overcome this obstacle?

I am running Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) on a 64-bit architecture.

Many thanks,
