Hello Frieda
I am chemistry master of the Education Site SwissEduc.ch and chemistry teacher
at Kantonsschule Baden - a Highschool in Switzerland
Actually I made two Jmol resources which could be of interest for high school
teachers of biology and chemistry (they are in German, but could be translated):
- A tutorial about the structure and function of antibodies with five chapters:
http://swisseduc.ch/chemie/gruppen/carboanhydrase/index.html
- A tutorial about the substrate specifity of chymotrypsine and trypsine:
http://swisseduc.ch/chemie/molmod/anwendungen/tryp_chymotryp_jmol/
There are instructions for a students lab too, where the students can make
experiments to see the different specifity of the two serine proteases:
http://swisseduc.ch/chemie/gruppen/carboanhydrase/index.html
If there should be need to translate the resources in English, please let me know.
Thanks and Greetings
Roger
