[Pdbwiki-devel] PHP bug (in version 5.3.1) leads to MW incompatibility...

Hi guys,

This bug in MediaWiki [1] points to a bug report against PHP [2] that
seems to be a fundamental problem for MediaWiki. In the words of the
MediaWiki developers, 'its broken'.

Any chance of a PHP roll-back? I realise the circumstances under which
PHP was upgraded were exceptional, but hopefully the 5.2 branch is
being security bug-fixed? http://php.net/index.php - "Security
Enhancements and Fixes in PHP 5.2.12"...


In the long run, apparently RC1 fixes the problem in the 5.3.1 branch
(http://qa.php.net/)


We're experiencing lots of problems with the PDBWiki website that have
been created by this bug... Considering the recent problems on the
server, would multiple virtual hosts be an option?
