The way I see these object models working in Loci: CORBA - Allow non-Python components to communicate with the Workspace/Daemon - Allow remote components " " " " " Bonobo - Allow Loci 'viewers' to be embedded in Gnome applications XML/DOM - Allow low-bandwidth specification of user interface components, including the recombination of interfaces a la 'composite' loci. - Allow filesystem-based storage and databasing of loci.
