I see 3 modes/views:

  (1) Network normal view: Nodes and relations are visible at
      full size (icons and subwindows shown)
  (2) Network world view: Nodes and relations are visible and
      fit entirely in the window (icons and subwindows not shown)
  (3) GUI view: Gtk widgets from all nodes are visible
